I caught a 17" 3 and 1/2 pound smallie, lots of smallmouth, and even some walleye from your camp. I'll be back again on memorial day for the 1st of many fishing and drinking trips! See ya'all then! |

Thanks for the great night's sleep on my AT hike from Pen Mar to Peter's Mountain. I made camp here 7/9/08 before heading across the river and up Peter's Mountain. Nice level tent pitch with real facilities and I had my dinner by the river under a pavilion. If you don't want to reach The Clark's Ferry Shelter, definitely camp here! |

Seemed like a great fish camp. I look forward to using it again during higher water levels. Fishing was great, Johns shuttle service made it super convenient. |

If you don't appreciate the site go somewhere else!!! Leave the smallies for us!! John always has great bait and the supplies you need to have a successful trip. It is by far one of the most hassle free campgrounds you will find!!! We have camped in the Spring and the Fall for many years and couldn't be happier. Keep up the good work!!!! |
